Back to above topic. It's one of the item in check-list provided by Pejabat Agama daerah Kuala Terengganu. So by hook or by crook a B2B have to go through the test.
As I'm working in Bandar Utama, I decided to go for the test at Kinik Kesihatan Kelana Jaya. I planned to do both HIV and Talassemia screening but when I called they said they don't have Talassemia test because it's just a small clinic.
In short the steps for the test are:
- Call to make a appointment. Mine was made a day before.
- Go to the clinic and bring along the form provided by Pejabat Agama(if any). Bring 2 copies or you may make the copy at the clinic's office.
- Go straight to counter 1 and check your appointment. The personnel will give a form. Fill it up and return it back to him/her. Then wait for your name to be called.
- When it's your turn, pay RM1 to complete the registration process at the counter and the personnel will give you a set of papers and he/she will ask you to bring them to counter 20 (Blood Test Counter). Then again wait for your name to be called.
- When it's your turn, the test will be carried out by taking your blood sample. It's just a tiny drop. After that, wait for the result.
- When you name is called this time you should be happy because it's the last one. They'll give you your form with the result and you may go home already.
- Done HIV Test!
The waiting part was not fun at all... huhu...
